Jackie Chan started acting in movies from his childhood days. He did many small roles in Chinese films. He then worked as a regular stuntman for Bruce Lee’s movies.

The Struggles

In the late 1970’s, Chan’s early career seems to be very difficult to set up, when he was branded as the next Bruce Lee.
Chan started to enrol his career as an actor in a movie titled “New Fist of Fury”. This movie was not so familiar to the audiences and it is to be considered as a flop. The only reason behind his failure is that Chan failed to overcome the martial stunts of Bruce Lee’s style.

“I never wanted to be the next Bruce Lee. I just wanted to be the first Jackie Chan.”

Mr Chan admitted himself that he needs to improve in styles of martial stunts and also understood that he had a big opportunity to prove his capabilities. Chan after many attempts and failures, he created his own style of stunt called “Comedic Kungfu”.

He got the major breakthrough in a film called “Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow”. Chan now completed over 150 films. He met many insults and disappointments during his life journey. The spectators respected his talent and accepted his hard work.

Jackie Chan’s life journey could be like Disappointments, Insults, Failures, Hard work, Opportunity, Failures, Insults, and finally proved who he was!
