UPSC announced the notification for 2019 Civil services exam, which is going to held on 2nd June, 2019.
Nearly, 12 lakh people applied for 2018 civil services exam, but only 3 lakh candidates appeared. This year, UPSC expects more applicants for the civil services post. Applicants are increasing every year, but the vacancies for the civil service posts decreased year by year.

According to the survey of Department of Personal and Training (DoPT), there is a shortage of 1492 IAS officers and 970 IPS Officers as per 2018.Over the last 5 years, 2018 considered to be the lowest hiring of civil servants to 782. The committee expressed the seriousness about the shortage of civil servants.

What will be the Questions for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019?
Civil services exam questions is all about only current affairs and historical matters. From 2013 to 2017, its quite easy to differentiate the current affair questions and the historical related questions. But for 2018, it was very difficult to differentiate the question types. The questions are in such a way that, each questions are amalgamating the current affairs and historical subjects.
